This backpack is seriously impressive! The vacuum compression system saves so much space—I can pack like I’m carrying a full suitcase but still meet carry-on size limits. The included air pump is super handy, and I love the TSA lock for extra security. Plenty of pockets too. It’s comfortable, well-organized, and the material feels durable and water-resistant. Perfect for travel or business trips. I highly recommend this to any light traveler! A+
This is the backpack of all backpacks for travelers. The main compartment opens to the side just as a carry on would. The front compartment is great for toiletries and shoes. The back compartment is padded for technology and it also has a lock. The best part is the suction that reduces the size of the mid section. I was skeptical but it really does work. I also love the fact that it is waterproof and it has small pockets everywhere. Another important function is the fact that the zippers are all hidden which is helpful when you go to places that have pickpocket issues.
This travel backpack is great on its own, but the vacuum seal feature takes it to another level. This is truly the bag I didn't even know I needed! It's roomy and has lots of pockets for all of your Essentials. It has a laptop compartment also. I love that it has the TSA approved Anti-Theft locks, similar to what you may see on a Suitcase or carry-on. I have never seen this feature on a backpack before, so I was really pleased with that. I thought the included air pump that came with different nozzles was a nice touch, because you can use it for other inflatables not just for this bag. This is a great find for any Traveler.
The interior of the backback has a rubber, airtight, zippered bag/bladder that you pack your clothes in and then use a vacuum fan to compress the bag by removing all the air inside the bladder. The bladder is heavy rubber with a airtight zipper that cannot be opened like a normal zipper. There is a T handle on the zipper and a pull ring on the bladder that you use to hold the buckle with one hand and open the zipper with the other hand. Yes, this zipper system is the real deal. The backpack can hold the equivalent to a 24" suitcase once the bag is compressed. The backpack is about 19“ x 12” x 8”in when expanded. Also inside the backpack there is one zippered pocket and two mesh pockets. The outside of this Vacuum Backpack Travel has a lot of nice features. There are TSA-approved combination lock that uses the backpacks zipper closures. There is a separate compartment that can hold a 17-inch laptop. There are several small pockets to store things such as mobile phones, keys, books, passports, and wallets. The outside of the backpack has a rubber-ish type material that makes it water resistant. The back side of the backpack is padded and has a breathable material to help keep you cooler. The backpack comes with an air pump with different nozzles so can both deflate and inflate. With these additional nozzles the air pump can be used for other items such as inflatable pillows, vacuum compression bags, or inflatable mattresses.
OK maybe I'm just overly excited about an international trip, but this bag is going to be a perfect bag for travelling light without missing anything. I will be overseas for 6 nights with some work and some general tourist stuff, and was able to pack enough clothes for just about any situation: jeans, 2 workout/athleisure fits, 3 casual tees, dress pants and 2 tops, 2 dresses, a blazer, a light jacket, socks and under wear, and pajamas into the vacuum section without expanding it. I even tried including my lightweight puffy jacket and had no issue. I slid some comfy flats, a bunch of accessories for dressing up/down, and my 16inch gaming laptop and charger, backup battery, and converter in and had plenty of room for my toiletries, travel things like my headrest/hoodie, tablet, ebookreader, snacks, a smaller day-pack, and so much room to spare. Surprisingly doesn't feel heavy with the extra wide and thickly padded straps and everything feels secure and well organized. I should have started with how this bag feels like quality: stitching, padding zippers, materials....it is feels like it is a bag double its current price. I like that it is made of a thick, water resistant material and doesn't have branding on it. It has one pocket that would be useful if you are carrying wet items (it has grommeted holes on it) and so many zippered sections and inner pockets for segregation and organization if you are hopping cities and don't want to keep your dirty clothes with your clean ones. The laptop section is well padded, has straps to keep it from moving around, and has a tsa lock to keep your valuables safe, and the section is pretty roomy and could handle a larger laptop (I have had issues carrying this thick gaming laptop in other bags in the past). The zipper of the vacuum area would benefit from some silicone lubrication to help make it easier to fully close/open (I do this for my zippered dry bags), but I like the inclusion of 2 D-Rings to grab for leverage when opening/closing. On the critical side: the water bottle holder on the side is really slim - I found my slimmest bottle and it still was a tight fit, stretching the elastic to its limit. Maybe it is better used for an umbrella? I also found the included rechargeable vacuum pump a little finicky and I had problems turning it on/off - the button press length is kind of finicky/exact and I got frustrated. I will probably end up using one I already have for my car camping mattress. In truth, I already pack well (I roll my clothes tightly and kind of fill all spots), so I didn't see a huge reduction in volume using the vacuum pump. In all, I'm excited to use this bag on my upcoming travel. It will be nice to have everything on my back instead of wheeling around cities with a case on uneven surfaces, in buildings without elevators, etc. It also is within regulation for my Japan flights, though I am sure I am over weight. It may even replace my small hardshell carry on for work travel because its easier to carry and move quickly through crowds to catch a tight transfer or train and doesn't immediately mark you as a traveler moving around the city. My trip isn't for a few weeks, but I may update this review if I have additional insight, but I think this is a good value if you're looking for a well rounded backpack for travelling light.
